DATE: Saturday, February 23, 2013

TIME/PLACE:

March: 10:45 a.m. on the Congress Avenue Bridge to the Capitol.  Gather at the Austin American-Statesman at the corner of Riverside and S. Congress.

Rally: Noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Texas State Capitol on the South Steps, Congress Ave. & 11th St.

AGENDA: Speakers include Supt. John Kuhn, Diane Ravitch, former TEA Commissioner Robert Scott, student Connor Brantley of Ft. Worth, Supt. Mary Ann Whitaker from Lufkin, former State Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn, David Anthony or Raise Your Hand Texas and other education and business leaders, parents, teachers and students.  Kashmere HS Marching Band will be leading the march up Congress Avenue.
